I was tasked with creating a mobile splash screen that could be used as a loading screen for a company. So I decided to create a fun and colorful splash screen for Apple. The idea for using colorful gradient shapes to animate the apple logo was inspired by the gift cards Apple sells that use bright, simple, and abstract shapes to create exciting and engaging designs. I then had the logo fade out so that the animation could be looped.
